Katie is a North Carolina native and experienced lifestyle and newborn photographer serving Raleigh and surrounding areas! Katie craves connection and loves to serve families, and build relationships with her clients that turn into the sweetest friendships. She has found great passion in serving mothers and capturing their journey. Katie's professional background is in child development where she specialized in infancy through adolescence which has proved advantageous when serving mothers and her newborn and family clientele.
ABOUT
Katie grew up bouncing between the RDU area and the coast of North Carolina. She ended up completing her undergraduate studies at UNCW which solidified her love for the beach. She moved to Raleigh and a few years later, she (finally) married her husband Jared, in 2020 after a series of reschedules due to the COVID pandemic. They live happily in a Raleigh suburb and enjoy simple living and wide open spaces. When her camera is not in hand, you can find her outdoors spending time with her husband and their golden retriever, traveling all over, sneaking off to the beach as much as possible, cheering on Jared's alma mater (the wolfpack), trying a new restaurant (a total foodie over here), or spending quality time with family, church, and friends!
